EN: From a raw vehicle to a moving creative studio

When I bought my Land Cruiser, I knew one thing for sure:
this would not just be a car — it would become my home, my sanctuary, and my traveling creative studio.
The place where I sleep, film, write, edit, and reconnect with myself in the silence of mountains, deserts, and empty roads.

But to truly live off-grid, you need more than wheels.
You need energy.
Reliable energy.
Smart energy.
Energy that moves with you, wherever you are in the world.

And that’s where my collaboration with Victron Energy,
and Venema Arnhem, the specialists who built and configured my entire system,
truly changed everything.

The basic foundation of the interior was crafted by Milan from Buitenbus Arnhem —
the builder who did the base construction of my couch and the installation of my energy system. Someone who understands how a vehicle should feel when it becomes your home.

With that came the heart of it all: the electrical system.

Because without energy, you have nothing:
no laptop, no cameras, no lights, no charging, no fridge, no creation.

Toen ik mijn Land Cruiser kocht, wist ik één ding zeker:
dit wordt geen auto : dit wordt mijn huis, mijn tempel, mijn reismaatje, mijn kantoor. De plek waar ik slaap, creëer, schrijf, film, en mezelf terugvind in de stilte van bergen, woestijnen en lege wegen.

Maar om écht vrij te kunnen reizen, heb je meer nodig dan alleen wielen.
Je hebt energie nodig.
Betrouwbare energie.
Slimme energie.
Energie die meebeweegt met jouw leven, waar ter wereld je ook staat.

En precies daar begon mijn samenwerking met Victron Energy,

Waarom ik specifiek voor Victron Energy koos
